Are you really in control of your life and your thinking and what you do every minute of the day? This book is a book that will hopefully make you sit up and question what it is you do in your life every day almost without thinking – out of habit. Hopefully this book may encourage you to take back power in your life when you realise who has been in control of your life and you! What people say and do and think for most of day in their lives are done out of habit and with them mere slaves to their habits. Most are only onlookers in their lives with the greater force of habits taking control for most of the day and dictating most aspects within their lives. Most things that people think, say and do are done now out of habit and if those habits are mostly bad and misguided, what will that make their lives eventually? In fact, if we live our lives with too many bad habits, what will that make us? It is impossible to be a truly good person with a good lifestyle and good outlook and be positive in life if you have many bad habits.
We are truly now beings of habit, and those habits are generally very bad habits. Most people I know and see are handcuffed to their bad habits 24 hours a day. These bad habits make us very heavy and tired. It would be very true to say that most people are totally ‘out of control’ in their lives which can easily make them victims to endless circumstances that will cause them unhappiness. If we do not learn to be masters of ourselves and take control of our thinking and habits, life with its many perils will take control of us and be our master.
Now is the time to learn to be in control of yourself and your thinking or you can let yourself carry on in life letting your old self rule you with its old ways of thinking and doing that renders you out of control and gives you only sorrow. Few people can control themselves and their thinking and their habits all day long and with this inability it makes you wonder and ask the question: who is it that actually controls them and is running their lives? You may think you are in control but if you examine yourself and can see the impact that your bad habits have upon you, both directly and indirectly, you will quickly realise that you are not actually in control of yourself or your life – but very much out of control. You have become a slave to your bad habits and your ways of thinking and doing and seeing.
This book points out in details the many ins and outs of bad habits and how to conquer them, and which for most people, will be the greatest of challenges as most people do not realise just how much bad habits control them and dictate their every move in life from the time they get up until they go to bed.
