id=\"page3R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/strong><\/em><span id=\"page3R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The purpose of this art installation is to honour and mark the awful slaughter of all soldiers who<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">died in<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">WW1 and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">those of the Somme, to which I have wrote a poem to th<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ose<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">soldiers and their<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">many<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">mothers.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">We forget that all soldiers were once innocent children and who went to war innocent young men<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for those who made it back, came back traumatised.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid4\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The pram made into a tank, shows the innocence to which everyone is born<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, but are still born into<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">war,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">some<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">will<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">end up marching off to war<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, and we become oblivious to it all<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The human race makes many mistakes and today every baby born<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in the world<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is born into war<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and however remote and distant we think we are to war in the UK on this Island, we are a<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ffected<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">by it.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid6\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Th<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">e<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">camouflaged<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2018<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Pram<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Tank\u2019<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">a reminder<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and link to<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the past but is also \u2018trying\u2019 to be<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">a modern<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">day lighthouse to the world<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">trying to send out a message that there needs to be a stop to war so<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">that innocent children<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">all over the world<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">can grow up to be innocent men, not having to go off to<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">war!<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid7\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\"
